If you walk from Strandtown through CS Lewis Square, Eastside, and then over Albert Bridge and head toward City Hall, on your left you’ll pass a parking lot (and a building) belonging to Allstate Northern Ireland, which provides business support services to its parent company, the Allstate Corporation. (So exciting!)

Shortly after that, this space-age-looking building appears, delightfully, on your right, a little ways off to the north. Opened in 1997, Waterfront Hall is where, among other notable events, U2 performed its free “Yes” concert aimed at getting out the youth vote in favor of the Good Friday Agreements in April, 1998.

The agreements passed overwhelmingly and ended most of the violence from the Troubles. Yes.
