Vitrified
Except perhaps when admiring some beautiful brick building, most of us are not often keenly aware of the bricks about us, especially those we might happen to be treading on. But I generally love bricks, and these caught my eye.
Thurber was a large Texas company town with a rich (literally) history in coal and oil – and vitrified paving brick production. I don’t know when or how these bricks made it here, but I’m glad they did.
