This Way to the Rembrandts

I would not begin to suggest that this image should rest in the company of masterpieces from the Dutch Golden Age, but it is fun to imagine that Rembrandt or Vermeer might have at least enjoyed the play of light on this newer stairway at Mauritshuis.
