Good Things Come in Blue Packages

If I had a boat, I would not hate having one like this. It would be extra cool if it ran off an electric motor. (Purists may wince.) These boats are rated to 85 horsepower, and there are now plenty of electric outboard options that would do the trick.

At the time I took this photo, this classic Dorsett Catalina sported an Evinrude outboard that looked about the same vintage as Johnny Boy here. It does look like it has a solar panel, so that’s a start.

I wonder if the owner(s) used it as transportation to the final game of the regular season this day, when the Giants beat the Dodgers 7-1.
