Escalation

Heathrow Airport, or, when I was born, “London” Airport. Today it’s one of six international airports in London. At first this shocked and impressed me, but then I remembered the proximity of London to many other countries as compared to say New York, and I was slightly less shocked and surprised. New York also has six functional airports, but only three of those accommodate international flights.
