Damn Dams

It’s a love-hate thing. Dams are amazing feats of engineering and human dominance over nature that bring tremendous benefit to many – and tremendous devastation to many others. I too-often take for granted the privileges they allow me and forget the toll they take.

Beaver dams are my favorite dams.
