A San Francisco Giant for Tig Notaro

Hi Tig!

Long time no see! Remember? UC Davis Mondavi Center. February 11th, 2023. Row T, seat 9?

Any-who… I saw on your website that you and Stephanie are into “bird-watching.” Is that a joke? If not, FYI, all the cool kids just call it “birding” now.

Also if not, as a California birder, I’m sure you’ve at least _heard_ of my dad, Alan Craig. He’s pretty famous too. (https://westernfieldornithologists.org/awards/alan-m-craig-award/)

Also like you, he is super funny – though his are mostly dad jokes.

Love you!

PS: I didn’t know until recently that some people are truly afraid of birds. It’s called “ornithophobia” and it’s real. I recommend that anyone who suffers from ornithophobia avoid going to see the Giants play at Oracle Park on the Bay. As I entered the park, this gull let me know with zero ambiguity who truly rules the place.
